The
Lincoln Diversity and Inclusion Commission
hosted an open forum panel discussion
meeting at the Second Baptist Church in
Lincoln on March 7. Commission Chairperson
Jeanette Harris welcomed the guests and
introduced fellow member Jennifer Hunt, who
would be serving as the panel discussion
moderator.
Talks included personal experiences as a
minority in the community, how to address
the issues and have a positive outcome.
In today's edition, LDN offers messages
shared at the gathering, and in a separate
article how the city of Lincoln, Lincoln
Memorial Hospital Community Health
Collaborative and the state of Illinois are
striving to bring changes.
