						On
Thursday evening, a huge crowd gathered for the debut of
the Moses Pinkerton Gallery on the third floor of the
Lincoln Arts Institute. A portion of the evening
celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony with
invited guests standing behind the ribbon with gallery
owners Jason Hoffman and Marcia Cook.

The unveiling of the gallery, which will feature works
by the Lincoln Arts Institute membership, is the
forerunner of the Art Fair portion of the Balloons Over
66 weekend. The gallery will be open on Friday and
Saturday, and outside the gallery on McLean Street will
be an art fair featuring local artists. Please be sure
to include a stroll through the art fair and the gallery
						in your weekend explorations.
