2016 Wellness Expo draws attention to good nutrition and exercise
On Saturday, hundreds of
people took advantage of warm
air and sunshine to make a
trip out to the Lincoln Park
District for the 2016 Wellness
Expo. This year, the event to
assist visitors in understanding
how important their health is,
and what they can do to live
healthier lives on a daily basis,
offered more than ever before.
To assure that folks made the
rounds to every booth, guests
were given a bag of goodies
when they walked in the front
door, and were also invited to
play a little game for a chance
at an excellent array of prizes.
In order to play, all that one
had to do was collect a sticker
at each booth he or she stopped
at. When the page given to
them was full of stickers they
could return it to the front
tables and be entered in a
drawing for one of the many
prizes.
Throughout the day, guests
could be seen checking their
papers and collecting their
stickers.
