Lincoln College wrestling   

[NOV. 17, 2003]  MUSKEGON, Mich. -- Steve Woeckener and A.J. Blahut each won third-place honors for Lincoln College in the Ben McMillan Open wrestling tournament here Saturday. No team scores were recorded in the tourney.

Woeckener pinned Eric Smith of Grand Valley in 3:21 in the 149-pound class for his third-place finish. Blahut decisioned Kyle Schemlzle of Niagara 5-1 in the 174-pound class.

Lincoln College's Frank Beasley was beaten 21-10 in the 165-pound class by Nate Stirgus of Muskegon and finished fourth. Robert Taylor of Lincoln lost the heavyweight match to Robert McConnell of Western Ontario 3-2 and also finished fourth.
