A real pressure situation. Ameren crews on the 300 block of North Sangamon worked all day repairing a leak in one of the principal gas lines that supplies the city. Fire department personnel and vehicles were used to cordon off the block as the 90 pounds of pressure in the huge line made the repair work potentially dangerous. By late afternoon, the repair was completed.
