Wednesday afternoon, guests of the Lincoln & Logan County Development Partnership enjoyed a great meal, an excellent speaker in congressman Aaron Schock and plenty of time to visit with their neighbors from around the county. At the end of the day, Mike Maniscalco, executive director for the partnership, asked Schock to assist him in presenting the first Community Development Award. The award this year went to the downtown steering committee, along with Lisa Kramer and Darren Forgy of Prairie Engineers, who work for and with the committee.
