This year the Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival was bigger than ever. With over 75 barbeque teams in the heart of the city, more than 30 balloons at the Logan County Airport, Art in Latham Park, a Flea Market in Scully Park, and a large number of other activities in between, the festival brought in the crowds. With the weather being very hot and sometimes rainy, numbers were down a bit, but it was still a highly successful event.

Update
The city of Mount Pulaski
BOIL ORDER
will remain in effect at least through the night.  The city water department has said they will issue a new update at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

The city of Mount Pulaski was without water on Saturday due to a major water main break.  Water service is currently restored but a
BOIL ORDER CONTINUES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

It will take at least two to three days for water testing to be completed.  In the meantime there is BOTTLED WATER AVAILABLE
at the old firehouse, located next to city hall.

Anyone needing to pick up water after 4 p.m. should contact Mayor Jim Fuhrer for assistance.
