Due
to a sudden and serious illness, Logan County
Tourism Bureau Director Bill Hoagland is
temporarily unable to fulfill his duties for the
Bureau and may be laid up for several more
weeks. This past Monday evening, the Tourism
Board made the decision to hire Chris Wibben as
Interim Director to keep daily operations of the
Bureau going smoothly. Morgan Gleason was hired
as the new Office Manager/Assistant. From the
left are Wibben, Tourism Board members Cindy
Fleshman and Gail Apel-Sasse, and Morgan
Gleason.

On
Thursday afternoon, six Lincoln Community High School
senior athletes announced their choices for colleges
next year. The announcements were made in the high
School auditorium, with emcee Cameron Kurtz calling each
student forward for a ceremonial "signing" of his or her
letter of intent. Students were accompanied by parents
and coaches. At the end of the event, all six were
called up to the front for a group photo. Those
participating on Thursday from the left: Danielle
Burgrabe, Bryson Kirby, Isabelle (Hayes) Stiefvater,
Alex Linares, Zac Montcalm and Hope Moos.
