LDN -- Top Stories

The Paul Bunyon statue in Atlanta lost its head over the weekend. In fact, it lost the entire upper torso. However, there was no vandalism or natural catastrophe that led to the destruction. Instead, the statue was separated so that the interior bolts could be checked and replaced as needed, so as to keep the statue in good condition for the upcoming tourist season. The Bunyon statue is one of several Route 66 attractions that can be found in Atlanta.
