"I thought we showed a lot of maturity
for a young team. It shows that we've taken a step towards being a
good team," commented LCC coach Searby. "We really stepped up and
battled the last 10 minutes, we beat them to loose balls, we got big
rebounds, and we had several guys step up and hit big shots."
The Preachers hit for 52 percent from
the field and 55 percent from the 3-point line. Despite giving up
points on offensive boards, LCC still held RMC to just 45 percent
from the field.
Brian Dunaway led the team in scoring
with 25 points. Caleb Edson added 21 points, hitting seven of 10
field goals and three of four 3-point shots.

seven boards.
Lincoln moves their mark to 5-2. They
will play next in Dunbar, Wis., at the NCCAA Midwest Regional
Tip-Off on Dec. 4-6.
