Do
you recognize what this is? It's a map of Lincoln. North is up.
The lines highlighted in yellow represent streets identified
as needing repair or renovation. Aldermen have been asked to view
the map being kept in City Hall's building and codes office and
then help decide the priority of the projects.
The city of Lincoln has been allotted $464,878 in federal
stimulus dollars. The Illinois Department of Transportation is
in charge of distributing these funds for the state of Illinois.
The allotments would become available after passing in the state
legislature in June.
