Mount Pulaski Lady Toppers volleyball team traveled a long way to the Williamsfield
Sectional Tuesday night to open with a quick victory over Kewanee
Wethersfield. The Lady Toppers won 25-16 and 25-12. Erika Leever and Rachel
Durchholz led the attack with eight kills each, while Breanna Howe racked up 18
assists for the Lady Toppers. Mount Pulaski improved their record to 30 wins and
eight
losses. They will meet Sciota West Prairie in the sectional final at 7 p.m. Thursday in Williamsfield.
