Thursday Logan County Board Chairman Robert Farmer
offered up a recommendation that Scott Schaffenacher
from Mount Pulaski should be appointed to the board
as a replacement for Andy Meister.
The full board will vote on the recommendation at
tonight's regular meeting of the whole.
Schaffenacher commented on Thursday evening saying;
“It would be an honor to serve and do anything I can
to help the community.”

On
Friday and Saturday, Lincoln Community High School
hosted the Hampton Inn Volleyball Tournament. The
tournament included a total of 12 schools. Games were
played three at a time on Friday evening and Saturday.
In the end, Lincoln finished 5th overall. In the picture
above, the green circles represent the winners of each
of the pairings. LCHS activities director Sam Knox
provided the final score sheets and bracket results that
can be viewed in the photo presentation below.
