White Auction House on South Kickapoo Street has closed, and the building has been sold. The shut-down of the Saturday night auction is part of a two-year wind down as Colonel Dan White prepares for full retirement. The building will be revamped to accommodate a softball training center.

Danielle Krabbe of Litchfield, recently graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a double major in marketing and management from the College of Business. Danielle is the granddaughter of Danny and Marilyn Wheat of Lincoln and Verda Schottman of Effingham.

A young group of men who are part of the Class of 2018 at Lincoln Community High School have captured the attention of Railer Nation. The Class of 2018 Lincoln basketball travel team features Titus Cannon and Tate Sloan in the front row center flanked by Railer Nation members Blake Jones on the far left and Ethan Knutson on the far right.
