Earlier
this week, LDN's Karen Hargis caught a glimpse
of new 're-construction' going on on the west
side of the downtown square. The third "Bean"
business is now under construction. Bean Sprouts
will take up the storefront formerly known as
Hallie’s Lunch Box and will be restored to its
original look with a new facade that is expected
to match up nicely with its two sister stores,
Beans & Such, and By the Bean. Bean Sprouts will
be a modern cuisine restaurant with an emphasis
on healthy foods. The restaurant will also
feature "field to fork" fruits and vegetables
from local producers such as PrairiErth Farms
from Atlanta that specializes in organically
grown vegetables.
