Small Business Saturday in Lincoln shoppers had the opportunity to
pick up a passport and have it stamped at the various downtown
shops. There were over 20 participating stores in the heart of the
city and beyond. The passport was good throughout the following
week. Shoppers were asked to visit at least half of the stores to
qualify for the prizes.
Earlier this week the drawing for prize winners was held at Small
Town Creations. On hand to witness and assist with the drawing were
(l to r) Tony Curcuru and Lisa Drew of Sorrento's Pizzeria, Kathie
Williams of Small Town Creations, Morgan Gleason of the Logan County
Tourism Bureau and Colleen Roate and Troy Hanger of Spirited
Republic.
The winners of the drawing were:
Grand Prize ($575 in gift certificates to local shops) - Sarah
Lessen
Bonus prizes - (two winners each receiving $110 in gift
certificates) - Don Sielaff and Cynthia Knutilla.
Congratulations to all three winners and thank you so much to the
businesses who helped make downtown Lincoln a wonderful place to
visit this Christmas season!
