This
week a group of young people gathered at the Fitness Court on Eighth
Street in Lincoln for Teen Ambassador Training. Led by Angie
Whiteman and Angela Stoltzenburg three young women – Taylor, Hattie
and Brooke learned the various exercise techniques that can be
utilized through the stationary equipment at the court.
The court is free and open to the public during daylight hours,
seven days a week. Special days and activities are held on a regular
basis. Special events are listed in Health, and in the Community
Calendar pages of LDN. This month there are three demo days
remaining, a special ‘Move to the Music Monday,’ and ‘Move with the
Mayor’ on Wednesday June 26th.
