All of these people are absolutely wonderful, and we appreciate
their effort to raise breast cancer awareness by wearing their pink
in October.
We do want to draw your attention to the group from Lincoln
Community High School.
"This is our second year coordinating a Pink Friday, and there has
been an outstanding response. We have several staff members who have
been impacted by breast cancer in some way. We love being able to
support the survivors among us, as well as those currently
fighting," said Abby Curry, LCHS media specialist and organizer of
the staff event.

A
stunning display of items shows the quality of merchandise offered
on Saturday afternoon at the Harvest of Talents for World Hunger
live auction. Auctioneer Mike Maske worked his magic, bringing in
top dollar for every item on display. The money made at the auction,
along with various other fundraising events on Saturday, brought the
total offering at the Sunday worship service to more than $100,000.
The check was presented to the International Disaster Emergency
Services organization by Harvest founder Pat Snyder.
