The
days are counting down. Do you have your Abraham Lincoln suit, hat
and beard ready and waiting?
On Saturday, September 21, there will be an attempt to break the
Guinness World Record for the most Abraham Lincoln's in one place at
one time. To qualify, we need more than 250 people taking part. Each
person must wear a long coat, black vest, white shirt, top hat and
beard with no mustache, and be above the age of four. The
participant can be any gender, but not an animal.
If you need that beard and hat, the Lincoln Heritage Museum (LHM) is
selling both in their gift shop.
Above is a shot taken at the August downtown Friday event. Moses
Pinkerton of the Lincoln Art Institute is one of the organizers for
the most Lincolns event and poses in his suit alongside Olivia
Partlow of the LHM who was there selling the beards and hats.
