At
the Monday night meeting of the Lincoln City Council, Ward 2
Alderwoman Kathryn Schmidt announced that it would be her
last meeting. Schmidt is relocating to a new home in Lincoln
that is not in Ward 2. She said the move would be official
this week, so she would no longer be able to fulfill the
duties of alderman. Schmidt said that she had been proud to
serve the residents of Ward 2 and sit on the city council
and that maybe someday she would do it again. |
