			Logan
County Arts members are excited to announce that the monthly shows
will be returning in 2021, beginning with an exhibit and artist
			reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 8th.
The show will be hosted at the newly refurbished Arts Institute
Gallery, 112 S. McLean Street, Lincoln.

New owner, Jason Hoffman, said that the Gallery will follow covid
guidelines with face masks and social distancing required. He noted
that with a three-hour reception, guests should have plenty of time
to peruse the artworks safely. Also, the Gallery will offer covered
outdoor seating for guests as they wait to go inside.

The theme of the first show will be "Transitions." Many works will
offer a nod toward 2020 and a wink at what is yet to come in 2021.
One such piece of themed art on display will be "2021 - Return of
the Smile" by Bev Noble. The colorful collage looks like a large
flower, but on closer inspection shows a smiling mouth bursting free
of a ring of covid face masks.
