At the Thursday night game of the Lincoln Lady Railers, LCHS senior Kloe Froebe broke a 20-year record for the all-time highest scoring girls’ basketball player when she hit her career total of 2,377 points. The previous record of 2,376 points was achieved in 1999 by Lady Railer Steph Reichle.

The ladies played the Bloomington Purple Raiders Thursday night in Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium at Lincoln Community High School, defeating the Raiders by a score of 79-36.

Lincoln Daily News will have complete coverage and photos from the game by Teena Lowery and Lynn Paulus later today.

Taekwondo has returned to Lincoln thanks to a local businessman and a former student of the late Scott Brown. Bryan Clark is the owner of the new Lincoln Taekwondo Dojan with Darrin Watkins as the instructor. Clark wanted to bring something to the community to promote youth and family. Watkins wanted to honor his late teacher. Together the two put together a new Dojan.

Read more about the new Dojan in today’s edition of Lincoln Daily News.
