The 25th annual D.A.R.E. pizza party was held yesterday at the Lincoln Rec Center. Youngsters from all over the county came to enjoy pizza, sports, music and friendship. More information and pictures in today's Top Stories.

It's never too late to practice. The Turlach Ur Pipe Band from Grinnell, Iowa, gets in a late-day practice at the Lincoln Hampton Inn.

The group will compete this weekend at the Highland Games in Chatham but decided to stay the night in the friendly confines of Lincoln, Ill.
