Matt Clark, athletic director and men's basketball coach at Lincoln Christian University, is happy to announce that Gabe Cripe, a 6-foot guard from Tri-Valley in Downs, has signed a letter of intent to continue his intercollegiate career at LCU in the National Christian College Athletic Association.

Cripe averaged 16.9 points per game, 72.8 percent free-throw shooting and had 52 3-point baskets in his final year at Tri-Valley.

His high school coach, Jon Nelson, said: "Lincoln Christian is getting a great player and even better kid. Gabriel ended a tremendous three-year career at Tri-Valley, and his future looks bright."
