Soon this vacant building on the far west side of Lincoln will become the new home of the Oasis Senior Center. After several weeks of investigation and careful consideration of the needs of the seniors in Logan County, the Oasis board of directors concluded that purchasing this one-floor, handicapped-accessible building with an enormous parking lot, and at a traffic-controlled intersection, would be the best move. The building will have to have some work done, and it will have to be remodeled to suit the needs of the organization, but time will pass quickly and soon the seniors of the community will have a new, permanent meeting place.
