In spite of chilly and windy weather Saturday morning, the original Farmers' Market of Lincoln opened for business in Latham Park. According to mangers Doug Fink and Vickie Hum, there has been a farmers market in Latham Park for nearly 50 consecutive summers. The market was started by Hum's grandmother at the request of the chamber of commerce. Even though the chamber is no longer involved, the market continues.
