There
isn't much lawn left at Washington-Monroe School (above) just
now, but this winter when children enjoy the comfort of a new
energy-efficient heating system, it will be well worth it. For the past few weeks, work has been going on at W-M as well as
Northwest School (left), installing geothermal heating and
cooling systems. Eventually the lawns will be reseeded
and the school yards will return to normal, minus a tree or two.
