Two Logan County youth have earned the right and privilege of being Logan County delegates to the National 4-H Congress. The Logan County delegates are Alyssa Zimmer of Lincoln and Troy Rawlings of New Holland. Alyssa received her award trip in the Food, Nutrition & Health area, while Troy's trip was awarded through the Animal Science project area.

The Zion Lutheran School Speech Team concluded its season with participation in the Illinois Elementary School Association contest in Athens. All eight members achieved the highest rating at the IESA contest.
