On Wednesday morning and evening two sessions of “Coffee with the Superintendent" took place, hosted by Lincoln Community High School Superintendent Robert Bagby and school board president, Jim Mammen. The focal point of the meetings was a discussion regarding invitations received by the school to move away from the Central State Eight Conference. The school has been invited to join three other conferences - Apollo, Big Twelve, and Corn Belt.

Aurora Board, daughter of Doug & Regina Board, was named the December Student of the Month for the Culinary Arts Program at Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Aurora is a senior at Lincoln Community High School. The award is sponsored by the Lincoln Kiwanis and was presented by Kiwanis president Carol Mills at a meeting earlier this month. Aurora is pictured above center, with instructor Brenda Celano and Carol Mills.
