The
high winds that passed through Lincoln and Logan
County on Wednesday evening were not as severe as
originally predicted, but none-the-less they did
leave their mark in the city of Lincoln.
|
The first sign of
damage was at the Railsplitter Covered Wagon
where the canopy was partially blown off the
hoops. There was no word on whether the
canopy is seriously damaged. It is the time
of year when the canopy comes off for the
winter. Matthews Construction was out on
Thursday and removed the canopy.
|
At the Lincoln
Depot, it appeared that something happened
to the security fence around the building.
On Thursday afternoon though it also
appeared that the fence was being put back
up. |
|
|
Some residents
around town had a few downed limbs that had
to be cleaned up. There were also power
outages around the county. |
