							In
2015, several new businesses opened in Lincoln and
Logan County. Some came to the area boldly, and some
came quietly setting up shop and beginning a new
chapter in their careers. One such quiet arrival was
the office of Central Illinois Insurance and
Financial Services. The business is owned and
operated by Steve Shoemaker of Lincoln. While the
agency is new to Lincoln, it is a well-established
firm, first opening and running for several years in
Bloomington. Shoemaker recently said he had long
wanted to be able to bring the business to his town,
and shopped around for quite some time for the right
location before finding space at 519 Pulaski Street
this past July. Shoemaker is an independent
Insurance Agent with a wide variety of services at
his disposal. He specializes in working with
Medicare Supplemental Insurance and drug plans,
along with offerings of long-term care insurance and
other services geared to meet the needs of people
							approaching or in retirement.
