On
Friday afternoon, Illinois State Representative Tim Butler visited
the Humane Society of Logan County pets and the volunteers. Before
leaving he also took a moment to purchase his ticket for the HSLC
buffet breakfast fundraiser to be held on April 14th.
The HSLC is selling tickets now. The fundraiser is a partnership
event between the shelter and the Legion Baseball program. The HSLC
share of the fundraiser comes from the advance sale of tickets and
also the bake sale held the day of the breakfast. If you plan to go
on April 14th and wish to benefit the local no-kill animal shelter,
buy your tickets ahead of time like Butler.

new restaurant is coming to
the Elks Country Club! Travis Schleder (left) and Matt
Knight are opening TK's Grill at the country club. To help
kick off their new venture, a ribbon cutting will be held on
Saturday, March 30th at 10:45 a.m.
