Monday morning Michael Geriets, deputy police chief for the city of Lincoln, announced his candidacy for Logan County sheriff. After the announcement Geriets posed with members of his campaign committee. Pictured above are campaign treasurer Brenda McCabe, campaign chair and manager Heather Combs, Geriets, committee member Aaron Pickett, committee vice chair Melanie Blankenship, and committee member Randy Schaffenacker.
