This week construction crews were busy at the site of the new Lincoln Grand 8 Theater. Pictured above it appears that workers are building the rebar reinforcements that will be used when concrete is poured.

Recently the residents of St. Clara's Manor had a special guest day. They were treated to special music from vocal artist Cathy Reynolds of Morton. As part of the program Reynolds invited some of the residents to join in with feature solo parts in her performance. In addition, students from Zion Lutheran School came to visit. They sang songs with the residents, then enjoyed dividing up into groups for a special game time. The residents very much enjoyed all their special guests.

Michael Lowery fouls one off for the Toppers Friday night at Lenz Field in Jacksonville. The Toppers managed only two hits in the 11-2 loss to Ottawa Marquette.
