Sky-watchers
around the world are in for a treat Sunday night and
Monday when the shadow of earth casts a reddish glow
on the moon, the result of rare combination of an
eclipse with the closest full moon of the year. A "supermoon"
eclipse, also known as a "blood moon" because the
moon will appear red in the night sky. The event
will begin at approximately 9:11 p.m. on Sunday
night. Such a sight will not be seen again until the
year 2033.
