Cool
temperatures, light breezes, and plentiful sunshine
created the perfect fall climate for the many
outdoor activities going on in and around Lincoln
this past weekend. On Saturday morning, Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital hosted its annual 5K/10K
Walk/Run with a 5-mile trail option added at Madigan
Park. At Christian Village, there was a very special
gathering of motorcyclists from around the area. At
11 a.m. on Saturday the Railsplitter Antique Auto
Club hosted its 10th annual Cruise-in at the Mill on
Route 66. On Sunday the great weather continued as
local fire departments from Logan County and beyond,
came together for the fourth annual Lights and
Sirens Parade in Lincoln. LDN will have coverage of
all these events, starting in today's edition and
wrapping up on Tuesday.
