On
Wednesday, the Lincoln Junior High School eighth grade Accelerated
Language Arts class instructed by Tina Workman paid a visit to third
grade students at Central School. The eighth-graders brought with
them copies of a book they have written this year on the topic of
civil rights. At Central School the students from Donita Biggs and
Ren Anweiler were divided into small groups that included an eighth
grader. The elder students then reviewed the book, reading from its
pages, each sharing their knowledge of the Civil Rights Movement
with their younger counterparts.
