Two
Logan County communities recently received grant funding
from the Illinois Route 66 Scenic Byway.
The city of Atlanta received $1,000 that will be used
for interpretive panels for the Atlanta Coal Mining
Company Historic Mine.
The village of Elkhart received $750 to assist with
advertising and promotion of the Route 66 Monarch Flyway
event held in June of this year.
