Thursday night everyone was in a happy and festive mood as the annual Christmas parade took place in downtown Lincoln. This year the theme of the parade, "Sending Holiday Greetings to Your Loved Ones," celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln post office. While nighttime photos are a challenge, LDN managed to grab a few good shots, and we'll be bringing those to you later today in a special flipbook.

"What should I do today?" Through the holiday season there are a lot of activities going on. Make a list, plan your shopping, eat out to avoid cooking, and save gas and time by taking advantage of all the things you can find locally...

Friday

This reindeer at Serendipity Stitches is sporting a lovely ruffle scarf. If you enjoy making gifts, SERENDIPITY is a great place to stop in over your lunch break. Get the instructions and the materials needed and get to work.

After work, stop by LINCOLN IGA, grab a great dinner to go from the deli, then go home, curl up with the kiddos on the couch and watch the new "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!"

Great things to do this weekend
