New Year's Eve, the Logan County State’s Attorney
and local law enforcement are joining to implement
the "DUI/No refusal" initiative. Simply put, drivers
believed to be under the influence of alcohol have
the right to refuse a breathalyzer test. On New
Year's Eve, that right will be quickly overruled
with expedited warrants that permit officers to
conduct the test in spite of your protest. To learn
more about how this works, read the press release
published today from Logan County State’s Attorney
Jonathan Wright.
