Students
and teachers from Lincoln District 27
elementary schools recently welcomed a
visitor into the classrooms. Illinois
State Board of Education Superintendent
Dr. Tony Smith enjoyed visiting the
classrooms and interacting with
students.
District #27 was recently selected to be
one of seven school districts in
Illinois and one of 164 in the nation to
be a Google Reference District. Google
Reference Districts are those who have
incorporated Google's G Suite' into the
curriculum and are displaying positive
outcomes in their technology-based
education. "We were excited to showcase
for Dr. Smith how our teachers are
embedding technology into the curriculum
and engaging students," said District 27
Superintendent Kent Froebe.
