LDN - Top Stories
The
tourism bureau has placed "Welcome to Lincoln & Logan County"
banners on the giant covered wagon. Volunteer extraordinaire
John Sutton hung them, making it truly a “welcome wagon.”
The banners are new fence banners
that the bureau will use at local events such as the Logan
County Fair, Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival and Railsplitting
Festival.
They are being used on the wagon in the interim, while a new
wagon cover is being fabricated over the next few months. The
cover was destroyed by high winds last year. The wagon was
donated to the tourism bureau by Lincoln philanthropist Larry
Van Bibber.
