On
Friday morning local law enforcement officers from Lincoln and Logan
Correctional Centers, Lincoln Police Department and the Logan County
Sheriff's Office lined the edge of the roof at Dunkin Donuts in
Lincoln. The officers were up on the roof promoting the Law
Enforcement Torch Run For Special Olympics 'Cop on a rooftop'
fundraiser taking place on the ground below.

On
Friday, another fun event involving local law enforcement was
underway at the Lincoln Park District Recreational Center. The
annual D.A.R.E. graduation pizza party was hosted by the Lincoln
Police Department D.A.R.E. program for more than 300 fifth and sixth
graders from city schools.
