Beginning
Monday, December 5th, and lasting for the next two weeks, a portion of
Fifth Street Road will be closed for construction work. During that
time, there will be no travel on the stretch of road between 100th and
225th Avenues.

Santa and Mrs. Claus came to
town in style Thursday evening during the annual
Christmas Parade in Lincoln. While the reindeer stayed
home to rest up for Christmas Eve, the Clauses were
chauffeured into the city via a horse-drawn carriage.
After participating in the parade, the couple was taken
to the Logan County Tourism Bureau Visitors Center at
the Lincoln Depot. They then spent the next little while
visiting with area children and noting all the answers
to the beloved question, "what do you want for
Christmas?"
Lincoln Daily News will have coverage of the parade and
Clauses visit with local children in its Saturday
edition.
