LCC shot a blazing 55 percent
from the field, but the Royals kept it close by converting
second-chance points and scoring off turnovers. In the second half,
the home squad came out and forced turnovers with a high-tempo
defense and were able to push a 21-point lead
"This is a win that our team needed
after dropping two in a row," Lincoln coach Searby commented.
"I thought this is the best all-around
game that we have had so far," he added. "Brian had a spectacular
game, but it's because he got other players involved."
The Preachers were led statistically by
Brian Dunaway's 30 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

Caleb Edson added 29 points.
"I think this was a breakout game for
Caleb," Searby said. "He has been showing signs of being able to do
what he did tonight."
Travis Chase had a double-double once
again, with 10 points and 13 boards. Tim Schultz chipped in 10 on
5-of-7 from the field.
The LCC men
moved their record to 4-2. They play tonight (Monday) at 7:30 at
Robert Morris in Springfield.
