The
Logan County Board's Workshop was moved on Thursday
evening to the Logan County Courthouse third floor
courtroom. As anticipated, a large crowd came out
that included mine employees and Elkhart residents.
The board began hearing the mine's request to rezone
land to create a new fly ash storage. The
board is expected to vote on the rezoning request
next Tuesday evening. A straw vote was undetermined
in how the board might vote.
