							On
Monday evening Lincoln aldermen approved the
appointment of Paul Adams to the position of Chief
of Police for the city. Adams has been the deputy
chief since the retirement of Michael Gerietts. Now
he replaces Ken Greenslate, who recently announced
his retirement. Adams was sworn in by Mayor Pro tem
Marty Neitzel. After the council adjourned Adams'
wife and children did the honors of pinning the new
							chief.
