This year LDN published over 43,000 articles, and of those, more than 25,000 were of local interest. Those 25,000 articles included LDN-originated pieces as well as local news releases, announcements and reader submissions. In addition, we posted over 30,000 photos. Because of this, it is almost impossible to pick one photo this year and call it the Photo of the Year. However, we did choose two pictures that we hope will reflect our message to our readers in 2013. May the new year bring you joy, happiness, peace and tranquillity. Happy New Year from all of us at Lincoln Daily News.
