Students from each grade at Chester-East Lincoln were given the honor of doing the ribbon-cut Tuesday evening on the school's remodeling projects. Superintendent Jennifer Hamm said the students selected were chosen because they are role models in their classes. Snipping the ribbon was Grace Mathon, who was the 2012-13 CEL Student of the Year.

Classic movies return to Lincoln Theater 4 

Lincoln Theater 4 in downtown Lincoln is once again offering special screenings of some of the best in classic films. The two special features to be shown were both nominated for 1963 Oscars.

The schedule for "Lawrence of Arabia" is as follows: Friday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. There will be two showings each day, at 3 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" will show on Saturday at 1:50 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  It will also show on Monday and Wednesday, with showtimes scheduled for 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
